Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia today demanded immediate elections in Delhi to stop the BJP from forming the government by purchasing people.

Emphasizing that the BJP does not have the adequate numbers to form the government, Sisodia said that BJP is increasing their strength after purchasing people and AAP will soon conduct a sting operation to expose them.

"Our party's stand is very clear that there should be elections in Delhi immediately because if BJP forms the government after purchasing people then there will be corruption and nothing else. Everyone will be thinking about themselves and how to earn the money," Sisodia told ANI here.

"We know about this because BJP has been trying to buy our members and we are quite sure about it. If they continue to do this we will do a sting operation on them," he added.

According to reports, the Lieutenant Governor had sent a recommendation to President Pranab Mukherjee to invite the BJP, which has the highest numbers in the Delhi Assembly, to form the government in the national capital.

Delhi has been under the President's rule since February 17 this year after AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal resigned as the Chief Minister in protest against the Lieutenant Governor's refusal to allow the introduction of the 'Janlokpal Bill' in the Assembly.
