Senior advocate Abha Singh on Sunday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into the investigation of the Vyapam scam following the death of journalist Akshay Singh.
"Prime Minister Modi should now pay attention to the scam and investigation should be completed as soon as possible so that no more innocents are killed.The death of the journalist in suspicious circumstances needs immediate investigation," Singh told ANI.
Akshay Singh, a journalist with the TV Today Group, died suddenly yesterday when he had gone to take an interview of the family of a slain Vyapam scam accused in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh.
Reports say that Singh felt chest pain while he was taking the interview. He was taken to the Meghnagar hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
