Adam Sandler was mauled by a cheetah after he tried to feed the wild animal with his bare hands during a visit to a wildlife park in Africa.

During the Late Night With David Letterman show, the 46-year-old opened up about his encounter with the big cat after he was told that he could "feed the cheetah water with his hands" in an attempt to connect with the wild animal, the Mirror reported.

Sandler said that when the animal jumped on him, all he was going to do was let it eat him.

As the host praised Sandler's cat-like reflexes and ability to stay cool, the comedian said that he was just like; this is how he is dying.
