The wait is finally over and the race to become 'student of the year' has begun again.

After the success of 'Student of the Year', Karan Johar has announced sequel to the film starring none other than Tiger Shroff.

The movie was announced a few months ago and the makers have finally unveiled the first official poster of the movie.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who directed the first 'SOTY' and will be producing the second movie, shared the official poster on his official Twitter handle.

He captioned the poster, "The FRANCHISE continues!!!! The college opens its doors to a new Student! @iTIGERSHROFF #StudentOfTheYear2 directed by @punitdmalhotra @foxstarhindi @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18."

In the poster, Tiger looks like a cool student who is all set to rule the college and the poster states that 'Admission Open 2018'.

While we all now know that Tiger is the male lead in the film, it is still a mystery who will be cast opposite him.

The first installment was directed by Karan but the second will be helmed by Punit Malhotra.

SOTY featuring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra was a success at the box-office, as the movie went on to gross over Rs 70 crore domestically, with all the three stars getting nominated in the 'Best Debutant' category at 58th Filmfare Awards.
