Expressing doubt over the selection of all-rounder Shahid Afridi in the squad for the 2016 Twenty20 World Cup, former Test cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz has said that it would be tough for the former to find a place if he is not appointed as the skipper.
Afridi scored just four runs in the recently held two-match T20 series against Zimbabwe.
Reacting on his recent performance, Sarfraz said that Afridi could not be trusted after his dismal show against Zimbabwe, the Express Tribune reported.
Sarfraz further said that the PCB should stop looking for Afridi to perform well as there are many other players who deserve a chance in the squad.
Meanwhile, reacting on the stalled India- Pakistan series, the veteran insisted that Pakistan should move on as there are many other teams who want to play against them.
