The air search for the debris of missing Malaysia Airline flight MH370 has been reportedly suspended following a tropical cyclone.
According to News.com.au, the decision was made just hours after organisers had decided to deploy up to 10 military aircraft.
The Perth-based Joint Agency Co-ordination Centre said that tropical cyclone Jack is driving heavy seas and poor visibility, making any air search "ineffective and potentially hazardous.
Meanwhile, 10 vessels that were deployed earlier continue to scour the ocean to find the debris of the ill-fated jet with 239 people onboard that vanished on March 8.
Earlier, the US Navy's Bluefin-21 underwater drone searched about two-thirds of the focused underwater search area for the lost MH370 plane in the Indian Ocean but with no significant results.
The Bluefin-21 completed its seventh dive on Sunday but found nothing as of late in the day.
