Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently launched the world's most affordable stem cell bank, initiated by LifeCell, in Mumbai.
The 39-year-old actress had earlier banked her daughter Aaradhya's stem cells after her birth, with the biotechnology company.
"This association has a direct contact with very important personal decision in my life. I have heard a lot about stem cell banking, read up extensively on it. I even spoke to my doctors about it," she said.
While explaining her decision to preserve her daughter's stem cells, Aishwarya said that she took the decision after talking to her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, and their respective families.
