Alita: Battle Angel to release in India before US

James Cameron's cyberpunk action movie 'Alita

The film is based on Yukito Kishiro's manga (comic) Battle Angel Alita.

In addition to the classic romance between Alita (Rosa Salazar) and Hugo (Keean Johnson), the new plot of the film also shows Alita in action against her cyborg enemies.

The adaptation also includes a glimpse at the Motorball sequence, which the director has described as the central action scene in the movie.

Co-produced by Jon Landau, the flick stars Rosa Salazar in the titular role and Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley and Keean Johnson in supporting roles.

Cameron's past credits include 'Titanic', 'Avatar', 'Ghosts of the Abyss' and 'The Terminator.
