Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday took to twitter to share the moments when he interacted with the passengers on board the two transboundary buses which he flagged off with his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka.
"Its all smiles on board the buses! PM Hasina, West Bengal CM @MamataOfficial & I met the passengers on board," the Prime Minister said on twitter.
"Bus services flagged off bring our Nations closer and enable greater people-to-people contact," he added.
The two Prime Ministers had earlier today flagged off two transboundary buses linking Guwahati to Dhaka via Shillong and Kolkata to Tripura via Dhaka.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also present at the ceremony.
Prime Minister Modi had earlier stated that the two bus services will connect the citizens of the two nations more easily.
