A gunman killed in a raid by the police at a kosher supermarket in Paris said that he was a member of the Islamic State (IS) militant group and that he "coordinated" with the Charlie Hebdo killers during the attacks to maximize the impact of the violence.
The gunman identified as Amedy Coulibaly said that he coordinated with the brothers while they dealt with Charlie Hebdo shootings and he dealt with the police.
According to Sky News, the claims were heard while he made a call to France's BFMTV station.
The Paris store blast occurred just minutes after the warehouse in Dammartin-en-Goele was rocked where the two brothers were holed up who were behind the Charlie Hebdo attack.
Both the buildings were raided by the police simultaneously killing the brothers and the third gunman, as four hostages were killed and 15 were rescued.
