After being out of the limelight for four years, former child star Amanda Bynes finally sat down for a rare interview and explained her infamous tweet directed towards Drake.

The 31-year-old, while giving an interview to Diana Madison in The Lowdown, recalled her bizarre tweet that shocked thousands of her followers.

She wrote in 2013, "I want @drake to murder my v**ina."

Talking about the tweet, she said, "I actually wasn't being insincere. I was like saying, 'Murder my v**ina.' I was serious, but I was also on drugs, so that was my way of saying, 'Let's do it, man.' But I was on drugs and trying to be hilarious."

Adding, "He's hot! What does that even mean? It just means, like, 'F--k me, Drake!"

The 'Easy A' star also told that she will soon return to Hollywood, despite quitting the industry in 2010.

Bynes noted, "I'm going to start acting again. I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I'm a fan of and maybe another TV show where I'm the star of it, in the future. That's what I hope."

The starlet announced her retirement from acting in 2010 via Twitter.

During the same interview, the actress also told that she is now three years sober and going to Fashion school lately.

Amanda also spoke about her healthy new lifestyle, which involves plenty of outdoor hikes and regular spinning classes.

She found fame as a child artist in Nickelodeon's 'The Amanda Show' and 'All That,' before going on to star in Hollywood films with the likes of Colin Firth and Channing Tatum.

But her personal life made more headline than her professional life.

She was arrested for Driving Under the Influence [DUI] in 2012 and 2014.
