Amber Heard is tired of her 'sex symbol' image in Hollywood and, therefore, has decided that she doesn't want to be Hollywood's sex object anymore.
The 'Never Back Down' actress doesn't want her looks to overshadow her talent and feels that being Hollywood's sex object is incredibly frustrating, E! Online reported.
The 29-year-old actress said while promoting her new flick 'When I Live My Life Over Again' that she fought really hard to find roles that weren't defined by their sexuality, however, she had not in the reverse, shied away from roles like that.
The American actress continued that she has been in this business for almost 12 years and it is incredibly frustrating to be able to just now be trusted or given roles like this because this industry's very hard on women, because one is constantly asked to choose between one of two archetypes i.e. sexy or not.
