Boxer Amir Khan's representatives have denied that he has pulled out of a fight against Devon Alexander to set up a clash with Floyd Mayweather.
According to the Guardian, a statement from his team declared that reports suggesting Amir Khan had pulled out of the fight to face Mayweather in May next year were wrong.
It said that Amir Khan is currently in training camp in San Francisco with the aim of fighting again in December against Alexander once an agreement can be reached, contrary to the Mayweather story.
Khan is set to face Alexander for the IBF welterweight world title with only the venue to be decided, the report said.
