Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah today claimed that the exit of the Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government was certain in Haryana.
Predicting dire straits for the ruling Congress government in the state, he added, "Soon Congress will have to put out an advertisement to look for candidates for polls, such is their situation."
Amit Shah is in Haryana's Jind today to address a rally, where he was also presented with a sword and a mace.
Welcoming rebel Congress leader Chaudhary Birendra Singh into the party fold, Shah told the crowd, "BJP will not allow any tragedy or a comedy to take place with Birendra Singh."
He also added, "I am sure the people who have joined the party today will mix with BJP like sugar and milk."
The BJP is seeking to replicate its grand general election victory in Haryana which has been ruled by the Congress for the past 10 years and is scheduled to go to polls in a few months time.
