With barely a few hours left to go for the high-voltage campaigning in Delhi to end, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Thursday cornered the Arvind Kejriwal-led party on the issue of dodgy funding and alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) never delivers on the promises that it makes to the people.

"The donation which comes in the dark night is black money. And he [Kejriwal] asks to investigate and put him in the jail. He is aware that investigation is not possible till February 7," Shah said while addressing an election rally in Madanpur Khadar area here.

Shah also questioned AAP's ideology and criticized it for failing to deliver the promises that it makes.

"This election is based on two ideologies. One is that which delivers what it says and the other which does not do anything that it says," Shah said.

"I have never seen such politics in my life. The AAP never delivers what it says," he added.

The BJP chief also hit out at Kejriwal for taking Congress' support to form the government in Delhi in 2013.

"Kejriwal said that he will not join politics, but he did. Kejriwal swore on his children and said that he would not take support of the Congress, didn't he?" Shah asked.

The elections for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held in a single phase on February 7. The counting of votes will take place on February 10.
