The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday said there was nothing new about Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP's reaction to the murder of a teen in the city's Anand Parbat area, and added that Kejriwal needs to find new ways to ensure improved law and order, rather than blaming the Delhi Police.

"They become habitual of doing this now. For everything which happens in Delhi, they blame someone else. For this, they will keep blaming the Delhi Police. They knew before hand that the Delhi Police is not a part of the Delhi Government, and they knew this before going for elections. Now, they should come up with some new ways to mend this .. And when it starts with eve teasing, then molestation and rape, all of which can easily be tackled by the Delhi Government without any problem," BJP leader R.P Singh told ANI here.

He said issues related to Delhi women can be solved by the concerned department.

"For this, they don't need control of the Delhi Police. For this, the Women Department of Delhi can take care of this, but the Delhi Government will not do this. They only put the blame on others, and they keep doing this. I don't think anything can break this, because Mr. Kejriwal is used to it," he added.

Kejriwal had yesterday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the brutal Anand Marg stabbing of a 19-year-old girl, saying that the Prime Minister should either act or transfer the command of the Delhi Police command to his government.

While expressing shock over the incident, he said, the law and order situation in the national capital has deteriorated drastically in the recent past.
