The Queen had issued an order to the police officers at the Buckingham Palace after getting annoyed with them because they kept eating her Bombay mix and cashew nuts, it has been revealed.
The new revelation was made at a phone hacking trial in the UK when an email written by News of the World's former royal editor Clive Goodman was read out, the Mirror reported.
According to Goodman, Her Majesty was furious about police stealing bowls of cashews, Bombay mix, almonds, etc., that had been left out for her in the apartments in the BP Queen's corridor as she had a very savoury tooth
He wrote in the email that Queen was so narked that she started marking the bowls to see when the levels dipped.
He added that a memo had gone around to all Palace cops telling them to keep their sticky fingers out.
