Dozy Spurs fans tried to send death threats to axed boss Andre Villas-Boas on Twitter but posted them to the wrong person, according to reports.
According to the Daily Star, the Twitter 'AVB' they targeted is an American playwright called Ashley Van Buren, who mocked the British yobs.
Villas-Boas, 36, who is not on Twitter, was sacked yesterday after Tottenham's 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool, the report said.
Ashley Van Buren received abusive messages and death threats meant to be for Andre Villas-Boas, the report added.
Fan Joe Milner spouted that he does not want AVB at their club.
A lot of followers even said that Villas-Boas would be better off dying.
