A second man has been charged with murdering a young British soldier following his arrest with another man who has also been charged with the brutal murder and attempted killing of two police officers as well as possessing a firearm.
Michael Adebowale is due to appear at the Old Bailey court on Monday for the hearing on his charges along with his fellow partner-in-crime Michael Adebolajo, Sky News reports.
According to the report, two men, aged 42 and 46, held on suspicion of being involved in the supply of guns in connection with the killing have been bailed.
The report said that Lee Drummer Rigby suffered 'extensive and serious' injuries and had to be identified by a dental expert.
The report also said that the accused have been charged with the murder of Rigby only after a post-mortem confirming his death from multiple cut and stab wounds has come to the fore.
Deputy coroner Lorna Tagliavini extended his condolences to all members of Rigby's family for their very sad loss.
