Apple has reportedly added a new section to the iTunes store for Selfie fans to find related apps to show allowing more of self-love.
The 'Sharing Selfies' section on the Apple iTunes store would be home to dedicated apps like Snapchat as well as Picr, a selfie diary app.
Selfies, a picture of oneself, like a self-portrait, has become a rage on the social media, while the word 'Selfie' in itself has been named as Oxford dictionary's 'word of the year' in 2013, Fox News reports.
CEO of TechnoBuffalo.com Jon Rettinger said that the selfie section features 11 apps that are linked to social networks and Apple is putting them in front of people who are interested in taking self-portraits, and they want to sell apps that improve the overall experience.
Rettinger further said that app stores like Google Play and Windows would follow suit with similar offerings, the report added.
