Tech rivals Apple and Samsung are reportedly planning to talk out their disputes out of court, and dismiss the lawsuits.
According to The Verge, the two companies have intermittently entered these discussions, whether voluntarily or ordered by court, but Apple somehow looks interested in cutting a deal this time.
Meanwhile, Apple has also settled a long running patent issue with Google, signaling the company's willingness to settle issues out-of-court.
However, the iPhone maker doesn't have any other big patent lawsuit queued and value of the patents that the company would bring into future battles is also dropping, the report added.
FOSS Patents expert, Florian Mueller said that Apple lacks an endgame strategy and he expects a deal this summer.
