Speculations about Apple's latest iPads have been doing the rounds for a long time, with the latest pointing to a high possibility of the flagship tablets coming with Microsoft Office app.
Rumours have also pointed to a larger iPad 'Pro' tablet for this year, which could be apparently a mix of a tablet and a laptop.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has claimed that the larger iPad Pro, measuring 12.9 inches, would require a modified operating system and even if Apple actually manufacturers such a product this year, its shipments would be limited, Cnet reports.
Another report by ZDnet asserted that Microsoft Office on iPad was very much alive and 'coming sooner that most think'.
The analysts said that Office for iPad was likely to make it to market ahead of Microsoft's touch-first version of Office (codenamed "Gemini") and would require some kind of Office 365 subscription.
