A report has said that Apple is set to price its smartwatch at par with a luxury Swiss brand.
The gold range of the Apple smartwatch, which would include a rose gold and a yellow gold version, is expected to set the customers back by a good 4,000- 5,000 dollars, reported New York Post.
Apple CEO Tim Cook had said in September that the Apple Watch would start at 349 dollars when it goes on sale next year but did not specify what a gold range watch would cost.
He had also said that the tech company would release three watch collections, Sport, Watch and Edition, at different price points.
The report said that the watches are expected to hit the market in mid-February, despite reports suggesting that it wouldn't start selling until spring.
