Green Beret Bryan Sikes, a member of the United States Army Special Forces slammed Gwyneth Paltrow for her recent comparing online harassment to war, calling her and her friends "mentally weak".
In a guest column for Clash Daily, a website founded by conservative author Doug Giles, Sikes mocked the 41-year-old star saying that her comparison was a perfect nail hit on the head, and that she should get a medal, Us Magazine reported.
The serviceman said that it was "dehumanizing" of the Oscar winner to match the difficulties of 'A-list' celebrity life on Twitter to the soldiers who have had their limbs ripped off and gone through so much of trauma and wake up every morning in pain.
In her defense, Paltrow told Re/code that she was like a whiteboard or a screen, on whom someone is just putting up their own projection and that the comments had nothing to do with her.
