Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki visited the Delhi Metro on Saturday to get a first hand account of the functioning of the metro rail.
At the Udyog Bhavan Metro Station, Tuki was apprised by Delhi Metro officials about the different facilities and functioning at the metro rail.
The chief minister lauded the officials for making Delhi Metro one of the most efficient urban transportation systems of not only the country, but in Asia.
The visit of the chief minister comes in the wake of his various discussions with different agencies of the Government of India to develop a state of the art transportation and connectivity system in the state to counter the challenges of travel within the state.
Later, he travelled from the Udyog Bhavan Metro station to the Race Course Metro station to get a feel of travelling by the metro.
