Ash Carter orders probe into airstrike on Afghan charity hospital
US Defence Secretary Ashton Carter has ordered a probe into the airstrike on a charity hospital in Afghanistan that killed 16 people, including three children.
According to The Washington Times, the airstrike has created immediate outrage in the war-torn country.
Carter said that a full probe was under way in coordination with the Government of Afghanistan.
Carter extended his thoughts and prayers to those affected with the tragic incident.
