Indian athlete Dutee Chand on Monday booked her place in the finals of the women's 200m athletics event of the ongoing 18th edition of the Asian Games.
The 22-year-old finished on top of the list with a clock timing of 23 seconds in the semi-final of the event.
Hima Das, another Indian in the fray, disqualified from the semi-finals of the same event following a false start. She was handed over a red card, thus resulting in her ouster from the event.
The sprinter, who had bagged a silver medal for the country in the women's 400m event with a brilliant clock timing of 50.59, was one of the strongest medal prospects for India in the 200m event.
In Kurash, India's Pincky Balhara entered the finals of the women's 52 kg category after defeating Uzbekistan's Oysuluv Abdumajidova 3-0 in the semi-final round.
