The top two positions in the event were claimed by Bahraini athletes Hassan Chani (Gold) and Abraham Cheroben (Silver) with a clock timing of 28:35:54 and 29:00:29, respectively.
Earlier, Hima Das and Muhammed Anas clinched silver medal in their respective categories of 400m racing event.
In hockey, Indian men's team defeated Korea 5-3 in the group A match to advance further in the event.
In long jump, India's Sreeshankar finished sixth in Men's event with a mark of 7.95.
India's total medal tally at the prestigious tournament now stands at 34 with seven gold, nine silver and eighteen bronze.
