Indian shooter Sanjeev Rajput bagged a silver medal in the men's 50m rifle three positions event at the ongoing 18th edition of the Asian Games on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old narrowly missed out on the first spot after scoring 452.7 points.
While Zicheng Hui of China finished on top of the podium with a score of 453.3 points, Takayuki Matsumoto of Japan settled for the bronze medal after posting a score of 441.4 points.
Earlier in the day, shooter Saurabh Chaudhary clinched gold in the men's 10m rifle event, while Abhishek Verma settled for silver at the same event.
India's total medal tally at the ongoing 18th edition of the prestigious event now stands at eight with three gold, three silver and two bronze.
