Assam: Army, Assam Police neutralises NDFB Terrorists in Kokrajhar

The Indian Army and Assam Police on Saturday neutralised two hardcore National Democratic Front of Bodoland NDFB(S) terrorists in a joint operation based on specific intelligence in Kokrajhar district.

One AK 47 gun and a pistol along with large quantity of ammunition were recovered by the forces.

Earlier, security forces held a cadre of NDFB(S) from Nabinagar forest village under Kachugaon PS in Kokrajhar district.

Also, a major terror strike was averted following the arrest of two NDBF (Songbijit) cadres by the army forces and the state police from Lankeswar in the city.
