Myanmar's State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi on Saturday called on President Ram Nath Kovind.
President Kovind presented the visiting dignitary her favourite bush roses from the Long Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
"State Counsellor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi called on #PresidentKovind today; the President presented his visitor her favourite bush roses from the Long Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan," wrote in a Twitter post.
Suu Kyi, who arrived in India on Wednesday, took part in the ASEAN-India Summit and the 69th Republic Day celebrations.
To mark the silver jubilee of India-ASEAN bilateral ties, India organised a commemorative summit on the theme "Shared Values, Common Destiny."
In the run-up to the summit, various programmes in different areas, ranging from culture to trade, had been organised by India.
