After Australia's worst losing streak in 126 years being beaten in Manchester, the Ashes tour match between the third Test has only increased selection dilemmas for the team.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the fact that Mathew Wade was sent in at No. 4 could suggest that Steven Smith would be locked into the middle order for Old Trafford.
The report said that selectors had to decide firstly if David Warner's 193 in South Africa could grant him a place in the side and secondly, who would make way for him.
There is also some doubt about whether Jackson Bird should be given a chance in the bowling and whether Nathan Lyon should return to the side, the report added.
