Autocross racer pops the question to girlfriend on racetrack

An autocross racer proposed to his girlfriend, another competitive racer, at the race track.

Maggie O'Brien thought that her boyfriend Jake Wile was taking her for another practice drive in a race course in Ayer, Massachusetts.

Wile dodged through an obstacle course for a few minutes before stopping and pulling out a ring box out of his pocket and popping the question.

Wile tells O'Brien that she is the most amazing woman that he has ever met in his life, as he kneels on the driver's seat.

He exclaims that every minute that he spent with her has been a joy, and he wants her to be on his team for life and wants her to be his co-driver for life.

Wile went an extra length to place a video camera on the car's dashboard so that he could record O'Brien's response.

The two competitive autocross racers are planning to get married sometime next year. The couple have known each other for six years.

The YouTube video of the proposal has been viewed more than 500,000 views after getting uploaded on July 10.
