Award winning anchor Sonam C Chhabra-showstopper for Designer Ashfaque Ahmed Fashion Show

Sonam C Chhabra was the Showstopper for Designer Ashfaque Ahmed Fashion Show at 'Friction the Drinkery, Gurugram'. Bollywood actress, Kainat Arora was the Special Guest, to launch the 12 Divas on Top Calender.

Event was organised by successful female Entrepreneur Ishren Vadi, the woman behind Miss Indian Diva Beauty pageant. Designer Ashfaque Ahmed, who recently showcased his collection at the Bombay times fashion week is known for creating stunning eveningwear and red carpet looks.

He wanted someone who represents the spirit of Delhi, a woman of today who can carry a Redcarpet look with confidence. Event was attended by BCCI Chairman - CK Khanna, Former Indian Cricketer Atul Wassna, Bollywood actress Kainaat Arora, RJ Yuvi City (City Da Gabru) and Socialite Meenakshi Dutt.

Speaking about the hurdles that a person faces in their career, Sonam has a inspiring way of looking at challenges. She says, "I have never looked at anything as a hurdle. I feel challenges are an important part of the process of your evolution. They consistently push us to achieve a better version of ourself". Sonam turns to Yoga to keep her sane when things get chaotic and grounded when Gods are unusually kind.

Letting us know about her future from here, Sonam explained that though she is going with the flow, and embracing experiences other than emceeing, like speaking at TEDx or walking the ramp, she is keenly keeping an eye out for opportunities in films or television. She has a Television Talk Show already running by the name of Safar Kamyabi Ka.

Adding to her accolades in 2017 Sonam C Chhabra won the Best Emcee India Silver Award from EEMA, the apex body for the Live Events Industry. She also took at the TEDx stage on the topic close to her heart "Beyond Just Looks - She is more than just a pretty face.
