India A clinched the two-match four-day unofficial Test series 1-0 after claiming an innings and 81-run win over South Africa A on the final day of the second game at Wayanad on Friday.
The tourists, who were trailing by 157 runs, were bundled out for mere 76 runs in their second innings.
Tormentor-in-chief Axar Patel produced a complete all-round performance as he claimed four wickets to complete a nine-wicket haul in the game. In addition, he scored an unbeaten 69 runs in the first innings.
While spinner Jayant Yadav took two wickets, Karn Sharma, Baba Aparajith and Shardhul Thakur shared three wickets between themselves.
Earlier, India A posted impressive 417 runs for eight, in reply to tourists first-innings score of 260 , thanks to opener Abhinav Mukund (72) and opener Ambati Rayudu (71).
The first unofficial Test finished in a draw.
