Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has described Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi as immature and unintelligent.
Speaking to mediapersons on Friday, Baba Ramdev said: "I said that on an individual level, Rahul Gandhi is an innocent boy who is misled by the Congress. What can we do with such an innocent person, he is of no use to the country. He is an innocent as well as unintelligent and such a person cannot be the Prime Minister of the country."
The yoga guru also claimed that the Congress would wind up with only 50 seats in the upcoming general elections.
"People have rejected and boycotted the Congress and the anger of the people against the Congress will be visible in 2014. Congress will wind up with around 50 seats," said Baba Ramdev.
Congress leader B.K. Hariprasad, however, said: "What can we say about such fake saints? Nothing."
Indian media often presents the 2014 elections as a face-off between Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, best known for his famous last name, and Modi, who has been lauded by Indian corporate leaders and foreign companies for his business-friendly policies in Gujarat.
BJP's strong showing in the recent polls in four states has boosted the momentum for Modi in the run-up to the national election due by April 2014.
