Stating that investigations into the minor girl's rape case has reached a decisive stage, Bangalore police chief M N Reddi gave credit to his police officers in investigating the case.
Reddi said, "The investigation of the sexual offence case of a six year old child, has come to a decisive stage. Two persons, who are gymnastics instructors of the Vibgyor high school, were responsible for this offence. They have been arrested."
Reddi also confirmed that investigation is going on.
On July 3, two gym instructors had allegedly raped the minor girl inside the premises of Bangalore's Vibgyor School when she had gone to the washroom.
Bangalore has witnessed a slew of protests after the shocking incident came to light. The earlier Police Commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar also faced the heat and was replaced yesterday by Reddy.
