The elite Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) of Bangladesh on Tuesday confirmed that it had arrested three suspected Islamist militants for their role in the murders of two prominent atheist bloggers.
An spokesman was quoted by media, as saying that Touhidur Rahman, 58, and two other active members of Ansarullah Bangla Team were under arrest and were being interrogated for the murders of Avijit Roy and Ananta Bijoy Das.
RAB spokesman Major Maksudul Alam was quoted, as futher saying that Touhidur was British-born.
