Spanish giants Barcelona has held La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid 1-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona has been aiming for their seventh successive semi-final appearance while it has been a remarkable season for La Liga leaders Atletico, who however, lost their talisman in attack, Diego Costa, to injury early on in the game.
According to Sport24, although an impressive 35-metre strike from substitute Diego put Atletico in the driving seat after 56 minutes but Barcelona hit back with a bending effort from Neymar 15 minutes later.
Meanwhile, the report mentioned that Jose Manuel Pinto was the only change to the host side that defeated Manchester City in the previous round, coming in for injured keeper Victor Valdes.
