Argentina forward Lionel Messi netted twice as he helped Barcelona maintain a four-point advantage at the top of La Liga table with a 2-0 win over Eibar on Saturday night.
Messi put Barca ahead in the 31st minute through a clinical penalty finish and struck a second from Ivan Rakitic's corner after half-time to ensure a comfortable victory for Luis Enrique's side.
Barca will next face Manchester City in the Champions League last-16 second leg tie on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Eibar face a crucial trip to relegation rivals Granada next weekend as the former are three points above the bottom three in the Spanish League table.
