Former Indian cricketer Kirti Azad on Thursday questioned the silence of the politicians on the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scam, suggesting that there could be a united alliance with the BCCI which compels them not to speak.
"Well, this is exactly what I am asking, where are the political bosses, those who ask each other in parliament or in assemblies, ask for resignation? People who talk of morality, probity in public life, where are they now," Azad said.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police is learnt to have received CCTV footage from a hotel that reportedly reveals shocking information about Vindoo Dara Singh, a small time Bollywood actor and winner of TV reality show Bigg Boss.
Vindoo, who was arrested for his role in the IPL spot fixing scandal, allegedly supplied high-profile models, escorts and young girls to cricketers in return for fixing deals. Vindoo reportedly had paid Rs 1 lakh for one night to each of the girls.
In the CCTV footage, Vindoo is seen with suspected bookie Pawan. Earlier it was reported that Pawan had given a gold chain worth Rs 4.5 lakh to Royal Challengers Bangalore star Chris Gayle. (RCB).
