David Beckham will receive first ever legend award at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards in honor of his talent and sportsmanship.
The 39-year-old footie ace will receive the award for being a role model to young kids both on and off the field, People Magazine reported.
The entertainment network said in a statement that Beckham exemplified the qualities every kid aspired to achieve and his name was the first that comes to mind when they think of his sport.
Pharrell Williams, Florida Georgia Line, Marshawn Lynch, Kevin Durant, Will Arnett, Megan Fox and many other athletes and celebs are expected to join Beckham at the inaugural award show.
