The Vidya Balan starrer 'Begum Jaan' has failed to impress the audiences with its hard-hitting story, as the movie has been seeing a decline in weekday's box office collection.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the nationwide box office collection of the movie.
He wrote, "#BegumJaan Fri 3.94 cr, Sat 3.51 cr, Sun 4.03 cr, Mon 1.87 cr, Tue 1.59 cr. Total: ? 14.94 cr. India biz."
'Begum Jaan' hit the screen along with Hollywood release 'The Fate of the Furious', and opened with an occupancy rate of 15 per cent during the morning but received a better response of public in evening shows having collected Rs 3.94 crore on Friday.
The movie talks about fight of a group of prostitutes who defy the governments trying to destroy their home so that they can make a division between the countries.
The film is an adaptation of Srijit Mukherji's Bengali movie 'Rajkahini'.
The flick stars Vidya Balan, Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Rajit Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, Naseerruddin Shah and Ashish Vidyarthi .
