A doorman of a luxury Long Island City apartment building in New York, US, was recently fired from his job for being "too nice" to the tenants.
Ralph Body told the New York Post that gave his life to the glimmering Queens tower called 27 on 27th and he did everything when somebody asked him to do, or there was a need for it.
The management said to Body that they were aware that the 41-year-old doorman did it for the right reasons, but unfortunately he was too nice to the tenants.
Body didn't just hold the door, he did anything and everything residents asked him to do i.e. to check on pets, clean litter boxes, water plants, hold packages, even show 4,200 dollars apartments to new tenants if need be.
Residents told the publication that Body was one of the main reasons they chose to live at the 27-story building, which boasts dazzling views of Manhattan, a yoga room, gym and game and film rooms but competes with similarly outfitted towers rising in Queens.
