Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch and Emma Watson have been named the world's sexiest film stars in a new fan poll.
Cumberbatch has beaten Tom Hiddleston, who played Loki in Marvel's Avengers, Henry Cavill and Ryan Gosling in the online poll of 50,000 fans, the Independent reported.
The poll, which was conducted by Empire poll, was full of British talent, but saw the former 'Harry Potter' star as the sole Brit woman in the top 10.
British actresses like, Keira Knightley secured 17th position, Kate Beckinsale stood 19th on the list, Gemma Arterton was on 20th position, whereas, Emily Blunt finished 21st.
The 'Sherlock Holmes' actor said that this poll result puts a bit of a spring in his step, as it is nice and enjoyable.
Cumberbatch added that he finds it hysterically funny and wields the result with a massive smile.
