Benedict Cumberbatch is all set to receive the British Independent Film Awards' Variety Award on December 7, it has been revealed.
The prize goes to a director, actor, writer or producer who has helped to focus the international spotlight on the UK, Deadline.com reported.
The 38-year-old actor is also up for Best Actor at the ceremony for 'The Imitation Game,' which has four nominations total including Best British Independent Film, Best Screenplay for Graham Moore; and Best Actress for Keira Knightley.
Paul Greengrass won the Variety Award in 2013.
