Karim Benzema netted a late goal to help Real Madrid settle with a 1-1 draw against Real Betis in their La Liga clash at the Benito Villamarin stadium.
Midfielder Alvaro Cejudo, in the seventh minute, smashed a stunning goal to give Real Bentis a lead, the Guardian reported.
After failing to score a goal in the first half, Real Madrid forward Benzema thumped an equalizer in the 71st minute to make it 1-1 against the Betis.
With the draw, the Zinedine Zidane- led side have now dropped to the third spot in the La Liga table and now sit four points off Barcelona and Atlentico Madrid.
Real Madrid will next lock horns with Espanyol on February 1.
