Betaout has announced that it has been named to NASSCOM's Top 50 Emerging IT Companies list at the NASSCOM EMERGE 50 Awards.
The latest batch of companies in the NASSCOM EMERGE 50 list are B2B businesses, with global clients - a further validation of emergence of enterprise clients-focused startups in the country.
Started in 2009, the NASSCOM EMERGE 50 Awards, is a marathon search for India's high potential top 50 emerging companies in different domains.
This year, the assessments were based on parameters such as financials, growth, customers, market, visibility, scalability and, most importantly, innovation impact.
The categories span across areas such as Healthtech, Fintech, IoT, Cloud, Enterprise, Adtech, etc. This year 350+ companies were competing out of which top 50 were selected and awarded.
"We are honored and excited to be a part of the illustrious NASSCOM EMERGE 50 list as we embark on our high-growth phase. We have our sights set on Southeast Asia and have started by expanding to Indonesia, and have similar plans for other countries in the region," said Founder Betaout, Arjun Maheshwari.
"Industry experts peg the E-commerce opportunity in India at USD 25 billion. Customer retention and personalization capabilities are going to be key in differentiating the front-runners from the rest," he added.
The ease of usability and implementation the fact that the Betaout platform can practically runs on its own with very minimal need for user training and flexibility operating in tandem with other applications are the reason that Betaout is a part of this list.
India has over 500 SaaS start-ups with revenue of USD 600 million. Indian SaaS companies are expected to reach USD 10 billion revenue mark by 2025, according to a survey by Google and Accel Partners.
