A betting company has reportedly been criticised for opening up a market and offering customers a refund if Oscar Pistorius does not get a clean chit as he pleads guilty for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

The company Paddy Power angered people earlier this week as it reportedly angered people as they opened up a market ahead of Pistorius' trial on 03 March and their latest offer of 'money back if he walks' further angered people.

According to Metro.co.uk, Paddy Power has a history of producing such stunts in order to promote deals but their latest stunt could prove to be the most controversial.

The release of the offer was reportedly accompanied with mocking Pistorius as an Academy Award on a blog, which said that 'bar-stool conversation' and 'pillow talk' would shift from the 'Oscars' on Sunday night' to 'Oscar on Monday' when Pistorius would strap on his prosthetic limbs for the 'long walk' to the high court.
