Sunny Deol and Ameesh Patel jodi of 'Gadar
The 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hain' actress, however, clearing the facts, informed yesterday that this movie, also starring Preity Zinta, is not a sequel of 'Gadar.'
"I am happy to come back with Sunny Deol on big screen. But I feel our audiences are even more excited about it. But I want to clear the fact that this movie is not 'Gadar,' part 2. That was a serious love story and this is a comedy film. The Tara Singh and Sakhina jodi of Sunny Ji and Ameesha will be coming in a new avatar. So, it will be wrong to expect that this movie will recreate Gadar," she told media here.
"I am happy to come back on screen with Sunny Deol," added the actress.
'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' was a 2001 Bollywood action movie, set in the time of partition. It was a box office phenomenon and had the second highest footfall after 'Sholay.'
' Gadar' collected Rs. 60 crore in 18 weeks.
